Not my first pair of Old Gringo's, and certainly won't be my last. They are tall, but I am 5'8", and they are just right. The relaxed fit is perfect over jeans/leggings, but not too loose for a dress. The red is beautiful, not too bright, with just a bit of wear, like I've had them for years. I get compliments, and a few jealous glances ;) every time I wear them.
