First Pair Perfection!
This is my first pair of Old Gringos and I did not have anywhere locally that I could try a pair on first for fit confirmation, so I was concerned that I was going to be exchanging my online purchase. I scanned all the reviews I could find on regular vs relaxed fits and the colors I liked. And I still wasn’t sure I was ordering the right ones for me. I checked other websites for colors and variety of instock sizes and to verify best exchange/refund policies…..Rivertrail Mercantile has the best of them ALL! So if I had to exchange for fit or another color I knew I wasn’t risking my $$$. So here’s the particulars to help you also….. I’m 5’10”, 170lbs with 15” calves at the widest measurement, regular shoe size 10. I ordered these boots in sz 10 1/2 violet regular fit. I probably could have ordered a sz 10 and been fine but I do like the bit of roominess these give me. The calf area fits perfect, not too snug even with denim leggings on! The violet color is washed in a soft grey that keeps the purple from being too bright. They are stunning!
