Snake Charmer boots nice but not quite like pics
My wife likes the Old Gringo Snake Charmer boots I got for her from Rivertrail. She’s normally an 8, but lately 7.5 (as these are) have been fitting better. Strange - she has OG’s from 7.5 to 8.5. I’m grateful for the deal - the coupon code was helpful. However, there are subtle but noticeable differences between the pics and how the boots look in person. The pics show the color to be more of a caramel tan with a satin texture and even shiny on the snake print sections. The boots we received are a lighter tan suede, and have a flat non-shine appearance. They still look good, but we were both surprised and maybe just a bit dissapointed. She doesn’t want to send them back, though! They really do look good on her. I just have to get the image of the boots in the pics out of my mind. BTW, it’s not the first time that we have noticed shades of colors being somewhat different than pics in the dozen or more pairs we’ve ordered from Rivertrail. Color enhancement? For example, bright yellow OG’s were more of a mustard yellow in person. We still love the product and Rivertrail has been good to order from. I do wish they would answer their phone sometimes. I’m giving 5 stars overall because the boots still look good and Rivertrail shipped quickly. Thank you!
